Juno

Juno has been billed as THE sleeper hit of the year, and currently it seems to be shaping up to be one of the more underrated titles released.

Juno tells of a story about a girl who got pregnant after becoming "sexually active". She feels overwhelmed and unready for a child and wants an abortion. A last minute change of heart sees her searching for a pair of adoptive parents. Her own parents on the other hand are surprisingly supportive as well.

Aided by an able but rather unknown cast, Juno really shines with it's witty dialog. Juno McGuff (played by Ellen Page) is both witty, and sarcastic, effervescent and quirky, dorky yet cool. She carried the show along. Ably supported by the other cast members, you'll find yourself laughing and smiling the whole way through.
